Laser recording of 105 mm microfiches

The microfiche format of 105 x 148 mm is perfectly suitable for long term (deep) archiving of all image and text documents up to DIN A0 formats and beyond.

Storage capacity
One microfiche of 105 x 148 mm produced on the Eternity 105 Laser writer contains roughly 30'000 x 42'000 pixels, hence up to 3.6 Gigabyte of image data can be saved on one 105 mm microfiche. For example, scanning an original map of 2 x 2 m with 400 dpi produces a TIFF master file of 3 Gigabyte.
