AP12-60 microfilm processor

The AP12-60 film processor was especially designed for automatic processing of Cibachrome micrographic film by the P5 process. The processor is robust and especially suitable for high throughput. Moreover, for its design emphasis was on excellent and consistent processing results in combination with low maintenance cost.

All parts of the processor are easily accessible for maintenance and/or replacement. The AP 12-60 is designed as a daylight device; hence, no darkroom is required for its operation and film loading.

The features of the AP12-60 processor are:

Automatic replenishment
Although contamination and oxidation of the chemicals in the AP12-60 processor is kept low due to its design, continuous replenishment is very important to ensure consistent processing results. Depending on the film width and its effective throughput, three dosing pumps feed the adequate quantities of replenishment solutions into the processing tanks maintaining the chemicals in perfect condition.

Reliable PLC
AutoPan processors are equipped with a reliable Programmable Logical Control (PLC) which displays baths’ temperatures, replenishment rates, etc.

Precise temperature control
There is a precise heating control (± 0.1 ºC) with heater, recirculation pumps and filters for the developer, bleach, and fix tanks.

Hot air drying
After passing the chemicals and wash tanks, the film is dried by hot air. At the end, the film is automatically winded up on a spool.

Scratch-free film transport
On the AP 12-60 you just need to fix the film end off the day light cassette to the leader belt of the film processor. The transport of the film through the processor is almost non-intrusive at very low tension. Hence, the transport is scratch-free and perfectly suited for processing 35 mm and 105 mm wide film rolls up to 300 m in length.
