The Eternity 105 microfilm Laser recorder

The Eternity 105 is the first Laser recorder for 105 mm microfilm. The Eternity 105 is recording digital documents directly onto 105 mm colour microfilm with an ultimate resolution of 3 µm pixels. Its new colour calibration method ensures optimum colour reproduction on the microfilm.

Network connection
The Eternity 105 is connected to customer's local network via Gigabit Ethernet and operates similar to a high end Laser printer. The digital Tiff-Jumbo-files of 3.6 GigaByte which have been prepared beforehand on separate PC workstations are spooled via the network for automatic recording on the Eternity 105.

Economical operation
During a one shift working day 400 microfiches are prepared for recording on a 60 m microfilm roll. At the end of the working shift the Eternity 105 is loaded with one film roll and started for autonomous recording of all of the Tiff-Jumbo-Files provided by the spooler. Hence it enables automatic recording of up to 400 microfiches during 24 hours of operation.
